Promote Your Business:

If your business is aimed at children and mums then we can provide a cost-effective way to access lots of potential customers!!

We are always on the lookout for beautiful new products and gifted designers to showcase at Little Poppets Preloved Market's. 

The markets are the perfect place for parents to stock up on gently used and some new, baby & children’s items, so our customers are mainly pregnant women or young families, which provides you with a targeted market of parents, parents-to-be and grandparents. 

There are two advertising options; you could have a stall at the market or you can have your flyers handed to everyone who attends in one of our goody bags. A stall costs £25 and allows you to get face to face with potential new customers and tell them all about your business. If you are unable to attend I can hand out your flyers for £10.  For both I will also share your details on my social media.

How we promote:

We want all stallholders to have a fun, enjoyable and profitable day at Little Poppets Preloved Market’s. So to help achieve this, we extensively promote via online marketing, our Facebook page and relevant facebook groups. We'll also distribute posters & flyers through children’s centre’s and childcare facilities; nurseries, preschool’s, primary schools, toddler groups and also community centres - up to an 8 mile radius of the venue. There is also an advertisement in a local parenting magazine. 

Important information:

If you choose to have your flyers distributed, we will require 100 of your flyers no later than one week prior to the event.

When you book a stall, you will be provided with a table and 2 chairs, however we will discuss your requirements with you and confirm what you might need e.g. space for a pull up banner or pedestal etc.

Please note: Business stalls are free to give our information via flyers/bags etc from their stall, but may not walk around the venue giving out information.

**All our events are covered by public liability insurance, however we require all business sellers that attend our events to have their own public liability insurance. Please email a copy of your up-to-date policy before attending***

In addition, all business stall-holders must have on hand on the day a certificate of Public Liability Insurance. If you do not have Public Liability Insurance you can contact the National Market Traders Federation by clicking on the link http://www.nmtf.co.uk. Please note: Little Poppets Preloved Market are not affiliated with this company. If you are a small craft business, you should be able to find a year’s public and product liability insurance for around £50. 

Food stallholders must provide a Food Hygiene Certificate, proof of registration as a food business with their local council, and a copy of their Council Kitchen Inspection/application.

It is your personal responsibility as a business to ensure you trade legally and safely at all times. You need to check if you comply with the Sale of Goods Act, Trade Descriptions Act, Social Security Act (NIC Contributions), Product Liability, Public Liability, and others, which affect some traders but not all, include Food Hygiene Regulations, VAT Registration, and Registration of Businesses.
